Brief biography: Nicole was born in Sonora, Mexico, a key location utilized by the international drug trade and human trafficking networks. Being one of the worst crime areas in Mexico, constant danger was to be expected - especially due to her having been fathered by one of the most revered members of the Sonora Cartel or Caro-Quintero Organization as it’s also known. Though her family was well protected and her father made sure to provide the family with money when needed living there waS still incredibly rough. Wanting more for her family and herself, she decided to get closer to her father by stepping up and being a full fledged participant of the cartel’s criminal activities at the young age of 16. Her being a teenaged girl made her a good option to use in situations where she would be underestimated, being able to assist in moving the product and leading victims into kidnappings, jumpings and sometimes murder if they were considered a big enough enemy to the organization. Both her and her father were soon becoming the most known members of the Sonora Cartel, causing them to be at the forefront of people’s targeting of the group. Having inherited her dad’s hot temper and confidence in her work, she would pay no mind to people’s threats, convinced that her routine would never fail her and she could not be touched. Though she was right in that nobody was able to take her out, her enemies still took out the people they could: her unattended famuly. On June 18th 2013, her mother Maria and her brother Miguel were both murdered at their home in cold blood as vengeance for Nicole’s misdeeds.
While her less invested father seemed to have moved on rather quickly, Nicole was left devastated upon finding them. When she first dove into the business she looked to make sure her family had everything they wanted and truly get them away from it all but in the end she is what pushed them further into peril. It was at this moment where those who knew Nicole say she had a change of sorts. She buried herself into her work and any remnants of the child she once was were washed away by the emotions of a cold blooded killer. Nicole went from dealing in drugs and being an accessory in attacks and murder to a legitimate hitwoman for the organization, getting hands on in the dirty work of the group in the hopes of one day taking out the men behind her family’s untimely death. It is because of this change in roles that she went from being Nicole (or Ramos to the Cartel members) to Llorona, the Mexican legend also known as The Weeping Woman. Much like Llorona wonders the earth, mourning her lost children and causing misfortune for those around her, Nicole did the same for her family, leaving bodies laying in her wake as she deals with the loss of the two people she truly cared for. This all would carry on until April 2017 where after a mental breakdown on her part, she finally became fed up with being engrossed in the gang life. Wanting a fresh start she opted to head to Los Angeles, California, citing the move as a way to expand the cartel. While building up an LA branch for the group and moving coke in the area Nicole took up wrestling training. Lucha libre was the one thing her brother Miguel loved more than anything and to her it was almost like a tribute to him seeing as he could never train himself. Honing her craft on the side and gaining fame in America for her wrestling rather than her cartel past, Nicole was able to ease away from who she once was, and after a brief stint in LAW, was scouted for OWA.

Gimmick Explanation: Llorona is a bitter woman with a dark past. Dressed like a street tough and known for her aggressive manner, Llorona pulls no punches when in the ring, obsessed with making her victories as violent as possible, wanting to draw blood. When she wins a match and the scene she left behind is to her liking she typically leaves behind a handwritten letter, a former calling card of her cartel done during narco related killings. Despite her moving on to wrestling Llorona carries heavy gang ties and while not upfront with what she does on television her people remain close to her and the way in which she carries herself has not changed at all. If the money is good enough she will go ahead and handle a “hit” on the women on the roster, attempting to hurt or flat out hospitalize the victim.
